When decorating a nursery I think it is important to keep cost reasonable and choose elements that can grow with the child. Always be on the lookout for a great sale, don't be afraid of big-box stores and check websites like Etsy for beautiful, budget-friendly finds. To keep it interesting mix furniture styles, patterns and textures; the outcome is custom and pleasing to the eye.

Awww...maybe I will have another girl and you can help me decorate her room.. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I totally agree! Being resourceful in ANY room is a good thing. Getting inspired by the expensive stores is a good thing because you know that most of the time, box stores carry something similar. Will we get to see a reveal?
ReplyDeleteSo true! When it's all done I'll be sure to post pictures...hmm...I think I need a photographer;)
Deleteoh, I just love this colour palette. We designed our nursery gender neutral since we didn't know what we were having, but now that I have a girl I'm totally drawn to the pretty pinks and reds!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I always thought a neutral nursery would be fine too until my daughter was born...then I wanted it all out girly:)
