With the low temperatures and endless rain Vancouver has received these last few weeks I find myself dreaming of Spring! Although I'm thankful to live in a city where we are able to enjoy four seasons I have to say I'm partial to warmer days, lighter jackets and open windows. For me, nothing says Spring is here like the sight of a beautiful tree in blossom (my dream is to live on a street lined with huge cherry trees). When thinking of Spring decor for the home, flowering branches are a perfect way to bring in a little "new life".
Whether your home is modern or traditional, shabby or sleek a vase filled with flowering branches in yellow, white or pink is a perfect, inexpensive way to make a big impact.

I love them so much ! I am thinking of jazzing mine up in time for Easter ... mine are like cherry blossom so yummy and sweet !

ReplyDeleteI have to laugh..... while walking the dog today I saw some gorgeous pussy willow branches and I wanted to steal some, no really, I would've nobody was around but the problem was a very large ditch. All of the branches reached across a friggin ditch. It's like the branches were saying "We dare you, come get us ..... and fall into the ditch while you're at it" Anyways, I didn't end up getting any. I have some company coming over on Friday night so I guess I'll just go and buy some :-(
